Horrible details on the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

Essentially, sliced up for seven minutes while he was alive. Who are our allies and who are our enemies, again?

Monsters. Didn’t the Saudi’s themselves recently admit that this was “a interrogation gone bad”?

Given that the guy “prefers to use headphones and listen to music clearly implies that these interrogations “go bad” on a regular basis.

I haven’t followed this story very closely, but if there is an established tie to the Saudi’s then we have to do something. At the same time, we have to be mindful of not creating a vacuum where another “Arab Spring” could occur.

This is another reason to reaffirm our full and total support of Israel. They are surrounded by monsters.

Trump and Pompeo need to STFU about this until actual evidence is released. If Turkey has it, release it for evaluation and protection of their methods of spying on foreign embassies be damned. Every country does that and every country knows every country does it.

I would not trust Turkey at all but I would hardly be surprised that the leaders of the country that carried out 9/11 and has spread their terrorist doctrine would sanction this kind of butchery.

The reaction of the US and other allied governments will be dictated by money.

Saudi Arabia is now and always has been ruled by murderous scum butchers. Why would anyone be surprised they could do this. The only question I have is why do it in such a moronic manner, assuming they did as the Turks claim, that was doomed to be exposed.

That said, the Saudis screwed up big time on this. I guess they thought aftertheir 9/11 crime they could get away with anything and since every US President through Obama has been their bitch it probably was not a stretch for them to assume Trump was too.

Thread Level: 4

No, the story says they want to see what an investigation shows, and they are not presuming guilt

ahead of time. I do think that Turkish leaks could be a lie with political motives. At the same time, they could be true. We are going to have a hard time getting at the real truth, but i think that it will eventually become clear. It seems prudent to let all sides make their case first instead of acting emotionally and presuming guilt. Once again, there is a push by the media to presume guilt of their perceived adversaries.

The NYT again presents "Fake News" with a headline saying that Trump is "jumping to Saudi Arabia's defense" when in fact he and Pompeo are saying that we must always presume innocence until evidence shows otherwise. This is a basic tenant of all western civilizations. It is also a prudent decision by a good leader. Further, it does NOT mean that Trump will back SAafter the information is all collected. He is only "jumping to their defense" int that he supports their right to presumed innocence until proven otherwise.

Perhaps we can use their own interrogation techniques on the Saudi princes.

Maybe we just wanted to get them vivisected.

In any event, the USA should have torn down the House of Saud on 9/12 instead of fucking up Iraq and trying to nation build a Taliban goat farm.

It is not too late to destroy the Saudi Government and the royal family of scumbags. Sure, it would severely damage our economy, but the assholes in Congress have already assured that will happen, probably sooner rather than later.

Only question is what would follow in the wake of collapsing the Saudi economy.

waste 2 more minutes.

1. All we know so far came from Turkey.
2. There are 2 Turkish sources. Official Turkey source and unnamed Turkey source.
3. All news media reported are from unnamed Turkey source.
4. But, from official Turkey source, Turkey government asked Saudi to help investigate the case. Turkish foreign minister even complained that Saudis aren’t cooperating fully. This doesn't make sense you want murderer to join investigation.
5. So, we have official offering from Turkey to Saudi to join the investigation and at same time we have unnamed sources from Turkey that accuse Saudi of murdering. Both official one and unnamed one likely are from Turkey government. Turkey just is playing the game for something from Saudi and U.S..

6. Unlike you guys, I don't rush to any judgment on who did murdering and how they murdered. But I laugh at you who is so irrational and easy to be manipulated.

We have the passport scans from the murder team when they came and left. We know this because they have been produced.

Nine of the 15 are members of the govt or intelligence agencies. We know this from Saudi sources.

They all came in and then all flew out in one day. We know this from passport control records that have been produced.

The Saudi consulate is sovereign Saudi territory under the control of the Saudi govt. They are responsible for what occurs there. We know this by virtue of international law.

Kashoggi walked into the consulate alive. We know this because video footage of his entry has been produced.

He never left and there is no body. He’s dead with his body dismembered. We know this because his girlfriend was waiting for him outside the consulate, but he never exited.

He was a well known dissident and critic of the govt. we know this by reading his writings.

These are facts that we know independent of the word of the Turks. The evidence they claim to have is even more damning.

The Saudis have refuted none of this and in fact have lied that he left the consulate alive. A source from SA not Turkey said the Saudis will admit to the killing as an accident which took place during an illegal kidnappped interrogation.

Now stop being a jackass unless you can refute this.

I do know is, given what crown prince did domestically (arresting 11 corrupted Saudi princes, 4 ministers and hundreds of businessmen and officials, and allowing women to drive ) and intentionally (against Qatar backed Muslim brotherhood, support Israel and support Trump admin's stand on Iran), he made a lot of enemies who want to do anything to make him looked bad.
