Because Ohio loves Ohio. For good reason.
Most importantly, Ohio humps their shit. They produce, they earn, and they proudly serve in the military. Always have.
Friendly, hardworking, and community oriented people.
Family and faith are king.
Fun neighborhoods.
They love their sports. Love their beer. And they are funny and clever people.
Absurdly nice people.
I lived in Columbus for a year. Crazy nice people.
Then during tOSU games, the town was overwhelmed by every unwashed drunken stooge from miles around. Not at all reflective of those I met, who were 100% midwestern nice.

I willingly live in Ohio. Dayton specifically.
Well, the suburbs anyway. I travel all over the country and have had long stints in almost every "desirable" area. Tons of international travel as well. FWIW, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Maybe Kauai or the Italian coast. Maybe.
Good people. Cleveland is not the standard.

I can tell you that Ohio people take lots of in from being from Ohio
Not really sure why. But I used to live there, and I can tell you that state pride is everywhere. Much more than Louisiana or Indiana (although Hoosier pride is healthy). Much more than, say, Illinois people.

2. Low cost of living;
3. Easy to get tee times;
4. Quick drive to ND games.

Bora Bora a couple of times. You are a lucky man. But still working. So spend most of my time in Palm Beach. My father was smart enough to move the family from Ohio when I was four years old to South Florida. He was an intelligent man.
I don’t actually live in Bora Bora-it just seems like it when I look at Ohio.
I live in Northwest Michigan now. Though in my younger days, I was a man of international intrigue.
Oh well no matter. But go to Bora Bora and by all means go to Singapore. Once of the best city’s.
