Funny story yesterday was British spy Halper's motion to dismiss Lohkova's defamation lawsuit against him. He said that he may or may not be a US government contractor and, if he was a government contractor, he can’t be sued for defamation because government agents and contractors, under sovereign immunity, have carte blanche authority to lie to reporters about people whose reputations they wish to destroy.

Trump struck a chord going after Cummings, supporting the rapper in Sweden, Ye, numerous pardons of African Americans, low minority unemployment, and sentencing reform. He's got a real, legitimate track record of success for blacks to run on. The media is protecting their fellow Democrats from losing black votes. Trump does not have to peel off a lot of them to be wildly successful in 2020..
In seriousness, he does deserve more credit for sentencing reform.
