I don't like Trump, didn't vote for him, likely won't vote for him next time, hate his tweets, think he's slimy, etc.

But the idea that the Dems have some sort of moral high ground, "best interests of the country", without a hint of political motivation is nonsensical. Really, that's your position? Pelosi? Nadler?Schiff? The Squad? Nah, they're all bipartisan paragons of virtue. True patriots.

Defrauding the country and its values has the tendency to bring out the better qualities of a few people in a position to respond. Even if those people are flawed. Thank god that Pelosi has clearly risen to this occasion. I wouldn’t have thought this possible several years ago given my impression of Pelosi.

Also, I hesitate to label anyone as evil. So I try not to go there with Trumpo. But his actions and ability to seemingly hypnotize and delude millions of people with hate and bitterness may be the very definition of evil.

In bigger news, it will end Trump one way or the other.

1). Trump has been asking for this Biden activity to be looked into for a long time publicly - there was no need to “keep it secret”.
2) Trump asked for an investigation of Biden’s sons activity in Ukraine in 2014 - 2015 (not 2020)
3). Guliani’s meetings in this regard occurred in 2018 before Biden announced he was running for Pres.
4) Trump has every right (and even a treaty) to ask for this. Further, he is aware that the Obama’s admin has used Ukraine to create the Dossier and to justify spying on his election BACK IN 2016.

Now bedsides all that and more, Schiff has totally botched the effort.
“Bias kills an investigations”. Just like with Peter Strzok and Weinstein bias and the Mueller Report, Schiff’s Four Pinocchio lie about his involvement with the WB has killed this case. If Sciff lied about the WB origins, why can’t they have lied about the content - they did help write the complaint.
Schiff lied back during Mueller Investigation saying that he had evidence of Trump/Russia collusion that even Mueller ) he STILL hasn’t produced). Schiff lied last week with his prolonged parody at a press conference of quotes from Trump that were fake. And Schiff lied about his office not having contact with the WB.

The whole thing was obviously a planned, coordinated attack on Trump using the exact same model utilized in the Blasey Ford attack on Kavanaugh.

Fortunately, the Dems incompetence rivals their corruption, and they have exposed themselves.

Btw Cole, even many of the reasonable Left were unaware that the Mueller hearings had gone badly until well after the rest of us all knew. They are not given accurate information on bad news for them until their MSM can no longer control it’s release. Thus, they still don’t appreciate how badly this has gone for them.
While we can watch Fox and CNN and others, their derangement does not allow them to veer outside of their own information bubble. They still don’t know what has happened.

Trump WH is refusing to give out documents until their is actually a vote to authorize an impeachment proceeding. Smart move. Put red stat Dems in the light and see who they really are. Pelosi has a problem now. They can bluster all they want, but they can’t punish a president for not producing documents to a faux proceeding.

I wonder how long she goes before she removes Schiff and puts him with Nadler? She wants to slink away now quietly because she always said this was a mistake. It she has the Baby Eater crew ready to chomp if she does.
