than anything the country club "conservatives" (sic) ever dared to attempt. And why? Because they were always terrified of getting criticized by the national bleeding heart media. I find him personally repulsive and unstable but I do enjoy watching the smarmy elites cringe at his successes.

Not true. All happened under the country club presidency of Reagan.

A tax cut on top of massive spending increases is not conservatism.

Merchantilism and protectionism aren’t either.

To ignore the facts does not change the facts. Trump criminally subverted our national security.

What is a conservative in America. Let’s examine:

1) Constitutional jurists that don’t believe the constitution is a breathing document. Unlike the two Bushes, Trump has nominated structural conservatives.

- Trump is the most conservative Republican since Reagan with jurist nominations.

2) Trump cut corporate taxes to 24% and personal taxes.

- Trump on unlike “Read my lips” Bush cut taxes a conservative standard.

3) Trump has cut hundreds of government regulations allowing US companies to thrive and yield record unemployment, higher wages and record markets.

- A standard position for true conservatives for 49 years.

4) Making American energy independent by removing regulations and opening up Anwar.

- Another standard conservative issue since the oil embargoes in ‘74.

5) Getting NATO to pay there fair share for defense.

- it’s about time

6) Trade tariffs with China and others who have been given a free ride for 25 years as a detriment to American workers.

- It’s about time someone stood up to China.

What your guy hates that he believes are conservative issues. But the world has changed.

5) clamp down on immigration and illegals

- The US chamber of commerce is against so are businesses that want cheap labor.

6) Global trade promoters that only care about corporate profits and could give a damn about US workers.

- Trump is for the US workers that have been left behind by globalists.

So given what he has accomplished he is more conservative by far than these windbags you keep posting.

But guys like Cole and you know more than Gregg about these things.

And yes nationalism and isolationism is indeed the opposite of globalization. You seem to think that’s bad. Many disagree. And I don’t decide my positions on a dried up useless RINO who has managed to be wrong for years. Just like your new friends Bolton, George Will, and Max Boot and Bill Kyrstal.

But the deficits are huge and growing. Seems no one cared when the Bushes or Obama more than doubled them. Guess you need something to bitch about.

And just read about NATO being insulted and standing by us for years. Excuse me senator but we bailed their asses out twice and rebuilt their countries and spend billions to defend them against the Soviet Union. What a delusional old man. Just go away Greg. Republicans voted against your BS in 2016.

This isn’t your fathers country club Republican Party. It is a movement against the global elites. Sorry if your former party left you. But give Trump credit for all the successes he’s had versus the RINO promises for years. People are pissed off that’s why there is Trump and BoJo in the U.K. You might not like it but you can’t argue with the results even if you don’t care for those results.

What results by the way?

You read the Journal editorial on new NAFTA, scathing?

He has capitulated to the Chinese, because he had to before destroying the economy.

2% growth. Black swan market. Look at options. Waiting for the sword to fall.

No health care reform. No border reform.

Wadda guy

Judges
Taxes
Lowest unemployment
Raising wages
Energy independence
New trade deals

So quote your RINO friends and their papers. But look at the results above. Are those liberal policies. Call them nationalist policies I don’t care. I support them.

Tax cuts on top of massive spending increases is a recipe for disaster.

We are already seeing the precursor with the fed having to pour cash into the overnight market so there is money to buy the debt.

Unemployment was already low under Obama without the bug juice. Wage increases will not continue with his GDP numbers, or if there is a recession,

New trade deals equal protectionism and they actually suck.

We have also NOT become energy independent in 3 years. That is utter BS.

Bottom line, house of cards bubble. Like your pals, W and Vice in 06-07 just with more help from the Fed. This economy can’t even support modest rate increases. It lives on constant QE. The chickens will come home to roost.
