As someone who grew up out west... I retain serious disdain for DC bureaucrats who set the rules for people living far away who they have never met. Same goes for progressive environmentalist from the upper west side of Manhattan who are living on an island stolen from Native Americans beside a river that once have enough sturgeon to export caviar to Russia. Who are they to say how the land should be managed?
