The democrats have successfully cheapened yet another significant thing.

First was racism... calling Trump and all of his supporters racist only cheapens the term and what racism truly is. It lessens the evils of David Duke, the KKK, etc...

Now, it is impeachment. Regardless if you believe Trump was leveraging aid for political gain (which BTW every politician does in one form or another), it lessens what impeachment was designed for. It will now start the proverbial snowball and every president going forward will be impeached by the opposing party if they have a majority in the house. It was a stupid, calculated move that will backfire.

It’s a Republican especially with trump. How many committees and hearings and investigations on Benghazi, the IRS, Uranium 1, HRC email, now Biden?

Trump is a racist and a misogynist. Your failure to see this informs everyone that you are the same.

He treats white males like crap, he's being a jerk. He treats a woman or a minority like crap, he's being a misogynist or racist.

The fact is he's a person of low character and he treats all perceived enemies poorly.

Ridiculous bullshit. On impeachment, there’s 2 things that are certain:

If the roles were reversed - if President Hillary had done the same exact things - two things would be true:

1) I’ve thought about this a lot and I am confident - only speaking for myself - that I would support impeachment. A serial abuser of power is a danger to the country, no matter the party. I would be clamoring for President Kaine, who could save the party and bring back normal times.

2) every right-winger on this board would be ready to drive to DC and string her up. The entire GOP would be frothing to impeach her, the traitor and demagoguette.

3) There would be no impeachment going on in the first place if President Hillary Clinton was in office and did the exact same thing Trump is being impeached for.

You know as well as I do that this impeachment isn't about what was done, but who.

I am glad I don't have to think through that scenario though since Trump beat her fairly, without collusion I might add, since the dems have foregone that impeachment attempt. If you are that adamant though that you would support impeachment of a dem candidate for the same thing, are you willing to admit that you would not vote for Joe Biden if he is the dem candidate next year?

What is “obstruction of congress”? Are appeals to the court now illegal?

Because when congress subpoenad his staff, Trump appealed to the courts to block it. The Dems knew the legal answer that they would get, so they went on anyways and made something up.

Abuse of power?! Really? I guess evertime we have a political debate in the future, we can ramp up the impeachment proceedings. Every time a president fires an ambassador, it’s game on.

What you have really said several times now is that you personally are so sure of Trump’s guilt that he needs to e impeached despite the lack of actual evidence. The ends justify the means, if you can’t impeach him for something by the rules, then damn the Constitution.

You slid down to accept hearsay and “presumptions”. You looked past the fake whistleblower and Schiff’s prearranged meeting with the WB and his lawyer’s to draw up the complaint, and you ignored the direct testimony of Sondland (presented to you on video) that Trump was innocent of the charge.

You are far deeper in your TDS than you realize.

By the way, can you explain why the Clinton foundation is now floundering and not bringing in donations like they did when she and her husband had power?

She sold the State Department by preferring CF donors over normal business. This was acceptable to Chris and Co., as he voted for her to be President. His vote for Clinton cannot be reconciled with the fact that he wants to impeach Trump over a phone call with the Ukraine.

Total hypocrite.

Just like the joke of an Impeachment that is going on. No matter what happens, you are just never going to like Trump. No matter what good he does for the country and the benefits you are getting from it. You guys will always find something to bitch about and want him removed. To hell with taking care of it at the ballot box, you want to kick him out of office. You an Al Green must be best friends.

And they made up new crimes, saying that an appeal to the courts is now a crime

Trump appealed his requirement to have his people take part in the partisan and unfair hearings to the courts. Dems called this “obstruction of congress”.

They also made a new one called “abuse of power” which can be determined in the eye of the beholder.

They did this because they couldn’t find evidence of a crime. That’s why they were changing their charges so frequently over the past 6 weeks: quid pro quo, extortion, bribery, etc, etc.. Each time they tried something new, it failed. On top of it all, the Dems preplanned this charade with a planted whistleblower who was then never allowed to be called to testify (WB laws don’t allow for anonymity, but instead allow for protection of the WB’s job and prevent work place retribution).

This pointless foolishness will pass, but the damage done to the system over these fake charges will last generations.
