that beer and laugh in your face.

BTW, I think Stone was guilty and should go to jail. I just don't think 27 FBI agents and a CNN camera crew should've been used to arrest him, and I also don't think he deserves 9 years in jail unlike you unprincipled liberal morons do.

Do you know the rationale on McCabe? I don’t. I know they are experienced corruption prosecutors though.

Thread Level: 4

No idea. Some speculate that the DC AG actually went to a GJ with it and it no true billed, but that

doesn't make sense because the DOJ's letter to McCabe's attorney says that they have decided not to "pursue" criminal charges.

Others speculate that they declined to charge him with a process crime because they have him on more serious crimes relating to FISA abuse, but this does not make sense to me.

So, I really don't know. I suppose we will find out when Barr testifies in late March.

Remember, they already decided not to prosecute Comey for lying and leaking. I guess they are consistent.

Thread Level: 2

Worth noting that McCabe admitted to lying to the FBI.

Which is what Flynn was charged with. The selective prosecution seems weird to me.

Nothing selective about it. Again, facts matter. Context matters.

And he claimed to have no idea. That's a "material" false statement, no?

It apparently wasn’t to the career prosecutors who examined it.

It can but shouldn’t be. I know both the USA and former USA in this district pretty well. Both R’s.

I also know more than a few of the career AUSA’s here.

I can honestly say I don’t think politics impacts what they do in terms of prosecutions. We also have the state capital in the district so there are more than a few prosecutions of govt officials.

You think Stone should do hard time and McCabe should walk free? Brennan and Clapper both lied to Congress and nothing has happened yet. I have my doubts that Durham will come down on any of them. You don't see this as a double standard?

I honestly don’t know the reasoning in the McCabe case so I’m not going to speculate. From what I do recall about Stone, they seemed to have a strong case.

I have clearly said on numerous occasions that Hillary should have been indicted. The others will depend on the evidence.
