Mine is easy....The Legend of Boggy Creek. Scared the bejesus out of me. The night I saw it, I slept on the floor next to my parent's bed.

The 1980 version is not universally praised. I think it's one of the most emotionally-piercing movies ever made and the performances by John Hurt and Anthony Hopkins are amazing.
