It’s another third rail.

The Culinary Union of Las Vegas opposes Universal HC coverage. Most unions support universal HC -
“Big labor largely supports a push for universal health coverage, but some unions — particularly those who have spent years bargaining for strong health benefits — tend to back an incremental approach over a dramatic switch to government-run health insurance that would abolish their union plans.”
You, of course, don’t understand this because you lack knowledge and suffer from absolute partisan loyalty.
According to Buttigeig’s optimistic estimate for Warren’s plan (much less Bernie’s plan), the cost for the first few years is twice the GDP even under the amazing Trump Economy. As Butti correctly pointed out in the debate, that leaves about 25 TRILLION in costs that don’t have a clear path for being paid (and that’s after jacking up EVERYONE’s taxes as Bernie has admitted that it will require.
Now, when you don’t have enough money an cut payments, Dr’s and hospitals bow out resulting in gaps in care. The easier alternative is to cut coverage and claim that those services cut were unnecessary all along which is a practice that the govt has already been engaging in (see mammogram and prostate screening recommendations). It will extend to most advanced procedures and treatments. There will be rationing, and it will come at a lower and lower age as the costs mount. The general public will be screwed. The very rich will buy it separately.
I am not really posting this for you because you 1) don’t want to hear it and 2) aren’t really smart enough to understand it. I post this for any others with a brain who might be reading this. I spent my life in medicine, you have not.
Coverage would only be better because, wait for it ...................... it’s universal. Everybody’s covered.
You know what citizens won’t have to pay for outside of their taxes? Premiums. You know what citizens won’t have to choose? Food over medication, medication over housing, going bankrupt over lifesaving HC or choose between HC and education.
Yes, it’s not a perfect system but it is far better than what the US has today or any other time in its history.

who actually have the experience.
But this subject really isn’t so far out of what logic represents yet you cannot grasp the simplest concept even when it’s in the name - even when there are several examples of to draw from.
Sadly, I have not yet discharged all of my sadistic tendencies. I need to meditate more.
yet you knee jerked an opinion.

I often disagree or agree with many others here... but they usually respond with counter positions. I respect that because mine are not fixed and have changed a lot over the many years.
think Medicaid for all won't impact those with health insurance. They are not so bright.
Pretty cynical to trash your own base like that, to justify pulling one over on them.
disaster, and they rationalized it as being due to other causes. They will vote to do it again on an even larger scale now.
It's sad, but these architects know it. Look at how this group swallowed Russian Collusion, impeachment with no crimes alleged, or even the supposedly evil Covington Catholic kid story. They are completely programmable, and they have seprated themselves from the outcomes of their decisions. Guys like Jim represent about 20% of the voting public these days, and unfortunately the number is swelling with idiotic millenials every year.
Perhaps the most amazing myth that they have swallowed is that they are the more educated voters. Unbelievable, pathetic, but true.
They are wrong to assume that. But as usual with libs, they are supporting this crap because they think that they will be exempted. They won’t be.
