Prediction: Democratic convention will throw Biden to the curb, nominate Cuomo

Biden's senility is getting worse even while staying home doing podcasts. Should have stayed a professor at Penn?

Imagine him on the campaign trail.

Most Dems see Biden as their last hope, but he has no movement behind him.

Cuomo is looking more competent and a better speaker than Ole Joe. He's done, it's just how they take him down.

I see a sit down with Obama, asking him to do what's best for the party and the country.

Just watch.

He may challenge you to a push up contest after that if he doesn't take you out back and slap you.

Particularly if Frankie's post above is close to reality. Oh wise one tell us how we elected people during the last pandemic. Prediction: you don't have a clue.

Not gonna work that way.

Do see Joe as a trojan horse for his VP at this point...

He'll endorse Joe as soon as he has the delegates.

Thread Level: 5

He will likely go into the convention short of 1900 delegates then what?

Got to factor the virus into this nominating process.

Thread Level: 6

I really don't know where you get your info...currently 98% odds he gets >1990 delegates.

Have him pick a VP of the parties choice, get Sleepy Joe elected and then he exits the office.

Thread Level: 4

Does he sign onto this plan beforehand? If so, the Dems better chose a VP who looks like a President

If not... how will they oust him?

Thread Level: 5

I think he would. The Dems don't care who is in the WH, just as long as it's a Dem.

Oh, and not Bernie. Ousting him is a different story. I think he may site what we all see, his health/mental capacity as the reason he would need to step away. They did box themselves in though with committing the VP pick to be a woman.

crisis? Trump and Cuomo. Joe's an afterthought. No one gives a damn right now about the election. There are no primaries to boost Biden's visibility. Instead his podcasts from home have been bad and subject to ridicule. Whatever, the D's and some posters on this board see the crisis as a Trump debacle, the public is not seeing Trump the same way. He is getting his highest poll ratings and gets 60% handling of the crisis. You may disagree but it is what it is. Also, Cuomo is getting the visibility that Joe cant't. He's on TV everyday and is getting great press. There are already movements to draft him.

We will see.

If Biden was on the air more than Cuomo right now (a) the people on the right would be screaming that he was attention seeking and (b) they'd be right.

Stop thinking of everything in terms of November.

Thread Level: 5

Listen I hope they stay with Biden, he's a walkover. Cuomo would be a lot tougher.

is embarrassing. Bringing petty family squabbles on to a national stage is awful.

That being said. He appears to be the right man for the moment for. New York during this crisis.
