are going to be paying a big price. This is an article from the WSJ on general admissions impact of coronavirus, but there is mention of this within.
The University of Indiana has the most Chinese students in the country, and other Big 10 schools like Michigan are close behind.
looks like they will be out a LOT of tuition this Fall.
Reai=ding the tea leaves, this means accepting local kids again and it also means that big layoffs of personnel is coming.

Technically, no school has invested in Chinese students
They tend to pull full fare, so they are welcome in lots of places.
And, like most industries, it all may bounce back pretty fast.

Sorry if i dont share your love of the Chinese. But when they steal from your company and make
knock offs that take money from American companies I really could care less about those Chink bastards. Mr. Wizard did you know they have whole cities where all they do is knock off products and sell them cheap? Of course this is with the blessing of the CCP. But go ahead be an apologist for them. Maybe someday some Chink can take the job of some 2nd rate college professor at Tulane. That would be great.

They preferentially give spots to them over locals for the out of state full tuition with guaranteed
payment.
It might bounce back, i agree, but i doubt that it will do so fully, and not until next year at soonest.

One of my kids is considering Illinois for engineering.
Illinois is so bankrupt, they rely on out of state kids to make ends meet. Makes me wonder if they are going to be able to keep the doors open.
Michigan does the same. It is the modus operandi of the Big 10 more than any other set of schools.
