Cities will figure out what works best for them. Funding government agencies amidst budget talks are always knife fights. The Police can stand up for themselves. They are very skilled at negotiating funding and selling their value.
Biden has always been pro law enforcement. “Defunding the Police” will only be an issue at Trump rallies.
