People aren't buying now because they fear the Dems will ban them.
People are buying now because they fear people will use them.

Our country survived a civil war. Where real guns were aimed And fired at our soldiers. Not water bottles and bricks.
I will grant you this may all go away. But, I will say two things:
1) My previous point: people are not buying guns out of fear they will be banned. That was always the reason for previous sellouts.
2) Antifa is arming up. Quite a few pictures of them carrying gear that is better than my gear. And, I can tell you that the crowds at gun shows are changing. It's not the usual rubes the Left like to ridicule.
Those damn zombies are always in packs.
friends have bought guns in the past 2 weeks

for the worse this year.

I'm hard pressed to think of a scenario in which I'd want to take a 1000 yard shot, though.
And boy is that pricey. You are making me feel better about looking at a piece that is half that.
Today I was looking for a light-weight, low-recoil shooter for the wife. (I know, I'm a great husband.) Looking at carbines. (I know...the purists will gasp.) Something along the lines of the CMMG 9mm Banshee...and I'm considering the suppressed option.
I guess it's sort of like the Arms Race that encourages detente.
Anyway, I'm just happy that there are people in the US like you who arm themselves and their wives. It does seem more necessary than 5 or 10 years ago.
That allows you to reach out and touch a target. A fun toy, but also too pricey.
Then again, high quality firearms may be the new gold & silver.

1 shot, 1 kill.

And if a 17 year old Muslim was firing back at you, you would miss by 120 feet.
Take your Rambo Foughazi act to to your neighborhood 4th of July barbecue.
You might even get laid.

Granted, that was with a 155mm caliber.

Does the battery commander listen to his caddy?
Never an easy answer.

But when I was in, if someone told you to add a bag...you best throw it all away, and get a new bag chain, and recut. Don't be adding a random bag. You grab the wrong one, and you may overshoot the impact zone. The only thing worse than the FO seeing your rounds miss the target is (happens all the time)...the FO not seeing your rounds impact at all (thankfully never happened to me).
But, maybe you are younger than I thought. The guys in the video at the link at my other post look like they are handling individual bags, which we never did. Always came in sets of 5 for the 155. I'm sure I'm dating myself now.

I'm covered with a conventional pump, though. Grandpa's shotgun still works like new.

Already reserved a place for Cole.
You right wing crazies could come in useful then.
MRE's still there. TP for bunghole. A bible like the one Orange has. Good to go.
Jim would be dead weight, and '64 would kill you in your sleep and eat you.
