Perhaps this makes me a socialist, but I'd point out that the various proposals start above $20M. From each... Eh, nevermind.
Even if you confiscate the entire wealth of all billionaires, the math tells you this is only enough
for Federal gov to run for 8 months. Our political elites controlled by special interests of all kinds is wholly disconnected from their voting population. That's the issue.
