End all police abuse, not just police abuse against blacks, but also police abuse against all other citizens, and not just violence, but all police abuse.

Amazing that something regarding which so many people agree, on both sides, but it can't get through Congress. That is the swamp we are talking about...Congressman not doing the will of the people. The Swamp really is impossible to drain, unfortunately.
I'm pretty sure it was brought by Democrats and not Republicans. So, what is it you're trying to say?
And, who cares who brought it. If it exists, it should pass. And by "should" I mean it is the right thing to do, not that it is likely. This is (or, again, should be) a non-partisan issue. I will give credit if due, but I fully expect it will disappear in committee though...if it even exists.
I don't have a link, but there was some movement on it. Not sure where or how long ago. I assume it was before Pandemic. I know J. Sessions was a loud advocate of
Civil Asset Forfeiture as it was discussed back in Trump's first year. But it had bipartisan support to defund it then and rearrange its use nationally.
Doesn't matter who introduced it. We should all care about this.

But then, good on him. It's definitely of bipartisan concern.

person from the Left who downvoted you....these people are not thinking for themselves, and haven't been for some time. Everything is about assuaging their hatred for Trump and gaining political advantage for imaginary gain that they will never actually experience.
They are reflex in their actions, indicating a programming. They are like the audience of a good hypnotist (the MSM) who has them in a suggestible state. If they were told that they would support the things they do now even 2 years ago, they would have scoffed.
They will literally support or rationalize any behavior at this point, and this all became possible after the severe psychologic damage that they took in the 2016 election loss from which they have still been unable to accept or recover.
Welcome back. The board needs you. :-)
Bumper sticker I saw, unsure if it's offensive or not, but it exemplifies the Wyoming mindset.

At least we still have Hoover, until they blow up the dam.

It is a dangerous game they play. It is a disgustingly cynical game.
