I'm surprised by Baron's level of concern...thought "Herd Immunity" was his top choice in all
Infectious Disease cases...;-) Hopefully, Russia is more cooperative with all aspects of data sharing than China has been wrt SARS-CoV-2.

They will lie and obfuscate.
Our only good source of info will be our intelligence services. They are how we know 5 hospitals are on quarantine.

back to when Russia (Soviet Union) did their part in controlling Smallpox all around the world.

To the specific case here, this kind of dangerous and unethical research (which includes Gain of Function research as well as others which may be involved here - unclear what the pathogen even is at this point) is horrifically dangerous. It is definitely worth "keeping an eye on it".
Also, you don't need to take God's name in vain - He is actually our greatest ally and only defense against this kind of evil. I know it is being "main streamed" in our society right now (which is another evil trend) - even in movies marketed to kids, much less this message board. But it is one of the 10 Commandments for a reason, and it is the easiest one to keep. It is also deeply offensive on an Notre Dame message board. Even if this means nothing to you, you are far too intelligent and well educated to not use better vocabulary alternatives.
