Shouldn't Bari's objective be to investigate and communicate the truth to the American people rather than "cater" to MAGA Conservatives, DSA Communists, or other segments along the ideological spectrum? I realize that's a pipe dream because true journalism is dead, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Correct me if I'm wrong TY, but it seems that your implied premise is that the "New CBS" under Weiss is pandering to MAGA while ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNOW, NPR, NYT, and WaPo are NOT pandering to Trump-hating left-of-center and far-left segments. That premise is comical.

Check out the latest Ratings for MS NOW, CNN, FOX...as noted, FOX is declining while the others
are increasing. Behind the those numbers, Independent voters are now 75+% opposed to Trump's performance and his MAGA policies. ...especially when you had to empty your pockets of $787M for knowingly lying to the public about the claim of a stolen 2020 election...followed by support for the bizarre claim of 'Vandals' damaging the D.C. Reflecting Pool, and actually trying to indict an innocent citizen.
And it's only going to get worse after the mid-terms, when under-oath investigations get rolling, should Democrats gain Majority status in the House and perhaps the Senate.
With all this going on, why would a Free Market Media Business make wholesale changes to what had become the 'Gold Standard' for In-Depth Broadcast News Reporting (i.e. "60 Minutes)?...doesn't make good business sense, IMO.

If when trump was ordered to pay back money stolen in a university scam why is that hate pandering? If when trump was convicted 34 times for tax scams on the IRS and reported why is that hate pandering? If trump is tied into the Epstein pedophile sex abuse scandal why is reporting that hate pandering?

Media deception and left-wing bias since 2015 (and long before) has been marked by omission and by outright lying. When were the following indisputable and critically important truths reported accurately by the so-called mainstream media?
The Intelligence Community spied on Trump's first campaign and presidency based on fraudulent FISA warrant applications that signed off on the Steele Dossier as verified evidence. In fact, the Steele Dossier was a collection of uncorroborated hearsay and outright lies that was financed by the DNC and Clinton campaign. The IC never even attempted to verify the Dossier, by their own admission.
John Brennan lied under oath in sworn Congressional testimony that he had nothing to do with including the Steele Dossier in the IC's "Intelligence Community Assessment".
51 spies lied to the American people about the Hunter Biden laptop and the evidence of Biden family corruption contained therein to sway the 2020 election.
The Biden family made millions from foreign governments and oligarchs through an influence peddling scheme and a network of shell companies.
Joe Biden was senile for most or all of his term as president.
Alejandro Mayorkas committed perjury multiple times in Congressional testimony when he swore under oath that the border was closed and secure.

The 6-foot Covid social distancing guideline was made up.
Neither masks nor the Covid vaccine (which really wasn't a vaccine until the CDC changed their definition to accommodate their lies) did to anything to prevent infection and transmission. Fauci lied when he publicly stated that the vaccine was 95% effective. Biden lied when he said Covid was a pandemic of the unvaccinated and that people who were vaccinated would not get infected.
Fauci repeatedly lied under oath in Congressional testimony about his role in financing GOF research. For that matter, which of the many flagrant contradictions between Fauci's public comments and his diary notes have been widely reported? Crickets.

it's not even close. When actually they get back when reporters dig into the BS Trump says and proves his a BS artist. That's what makes them "anti Trump" or left leaning.
