We do have pockets of unassimilated immigrants in some of our urban areas... but no where near the percentages in Europe. I suspect that the critical mass of disaffected foreigners is not sufficient to trigger mass rioting. Still, it is a warning not to open the borders willy nilly again.

There is no question that some groups have zero interest in becoming Americanized AND actually bear serious animus against our country, our culture and our people. It's national suicide to allow these kinds of people to enter in significant numbers.
Of course, we also do have a lot of our own folks who do not love our country. our culture and our people.

You should know that the Bay Area is a vibrant economic engine with perhaps to most diverse immigrant population in the country...it works. I'v listened to kids of multiple backgrounds talking as they were coming home from H.S. (one of the best in CA, or nation) and if you closed your eyes you could not tell who was European, Chinese, Hispanic, Indian, Pakistani, Vietnamese, etc.

Immigrants from very different cultures find it easy to live here without assimilation... and to retain regular contact with their homeland. That was a lot harder in the age of mass migration from Europe AND earlier immigrants were primarily from Western countries. Today, Asians and Southeast Asians are enthusiastic about adapting. We should continue to facilitate the immigration of talented people from these cultures because they fit in and become valuable citizens quickly. This is less true with folks from cultures who continue to have more primitive and superstitious world views. We need to screen them more assiduously and limit their numbers.

Those who came here then came to work, not to suck off the teats of the nation at best, or defraud the nation of billions at worst. And if they failed, they got help from their local communities and churches, not as government entitlements, and not by defrauding the government.
You can't make your government benefits available to everyone in the world, in their languages, register them to vote when they get drivers licenses...you can't do all that without destroying the country. Destruction is the goal, though, as the plan is to rebuild like 1919 Russia.
