For all intents and purposes...NO ONE wants 'Open Borders'...you are truly delusional if you hold onto that trope.
Reasonable people...incl. Farmers, Construction Firms, Restaurants, Hotels, HC Organizations, etc...just want effective Border Protection from Real "Bad Guys" and Drugs, and then rational quotas to meet America's GDP needs. That's exactly what the Biden admin agreed to in the 2024 Bipartisan Senate Border Security and Immigration Bill...Proof Positive of what I'm telling you now.
On the other hand, DJT is going to extreme lengths to screw such rational policy implementation...sure puts a smile on his Boss' (Vlad's) face.

And you can't blame Trump for that with your "he derailed the border bill that would have fixed it" mantra because Trump proved you could basically close the border just by doing it.

disproves what the CATO institute found...if not...accept the facts presented. Biden operated within the Laws in place...AND...fought hard to limit the negative effects...i.e. he imposed many restrictions...Just Read that fact-based report...not unsubstantiated opinions.
