Albany — does this week’s line surprise you?

Posting on The Open in case there are minors on Footy.

Irish -30.5? Would have guessed Irish -20, just because of the grind game Navy plays.

My first reaction is bet the farm on Navy. But, upon reflection, this is one of those lines where Joe Public will play Navy, meaning Notre Dame is the play.

Perhaps the smart money believes Notre Dame’s agile and athletic defense will stuff Navy’s ground game.

They don't have one.
Carr could throw for 600 yards easily.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Have never thought an air attack is the preferred course vs Navy.

Dominating Navy at the line of scrimmage has led to dominant wins.
Break the midshipmen in the trenches = 30 point rout.
