So, Democrats need to flip 4 seats among Maine, Iowa, Ohio, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska and Alaska …. which could easily happen.
Americans are on to Trump’s snake oil.
The quality of a candidate still matters. I would happily vote for El-Sayed over Rogers, but Detroit v Dearborn is a real thing.

Although his campaign denied dual citizenship, as a private citizen he told audiences clearly he holds dual citizenship.

First of all, wrt Trump...his unwavering support for Putin and his Assault on Ukraine are why I and
millions of others consider DJT to be Putin's Puppet...
As for Abdul El Sayed, he has never applied for or been issued an Egyptian passport, but he does have pride in his ancestry...not unlike myself for Ireland. My grandfather immigrated to the U.S., so I qualify to apply for dual citizenship...but never have, even though I've visited relatives there multiple times...and for sure, I have never renounced my allegiance and love for my home country...America.
So, there is nothing abnormal for El Sayed to express positive feelings for Egypt...but more to the point, his family left Egypt for the U.S. Because Egypt was NOT Democratic...to the contrary, it became Authoritarian...ergo, it's no surprise that El Sayed is Very Glad to be living in the U.S. and seeking to become a Democratic Senator...in opposition to an Autocratic President who refuses to adhere to our Constitution...Got It?

The fact is that the "Muslim Brotherhood" is reported to be over 100 yrs old, and no U.S.
administration (prior to 2025), whether D or R, has ever labeled it a "Terrorist" organization...and the family relations go back many decades...long before there were any such concerns. (see Link)
This is a desperate political trope, since MAGA candidates, like Rogers, have Zero accomplishments to run on...only DOGE, ICE murders of citizens, an Illegal War with Iran, Inflation, Rising Prices, Rampant Corruption, etc, etc.
