If you compare New York to Florida, it looks like Florida is having their very first peak, which New York already had back in March and April. Maybe you should compare Florida in 3 or 4 months to New York now, for a more fair comparison.

Also, you keep referring us to testing numbers in isolation of each regions capacity to treat cases. That seems a bit disingenuous, but I grant you, it is sometimes hard to tell what you are thinking. One gets the impression that you are seeing exciting political news in these charts, like a child looks for exciting shapes in the clouds on a sunny summer day...but it is often difficult for others to see the fantasies that you have seen.

I do not have a lot of confidence in a vaccine, and the quicker it burns itself out the better. All Europe has done is delayed a second wave, which is going to be much worse as a result.

Also, the numbers are BS. Texas and New York, for example, count probably cases as positives, despite patients not actually testing positive. I do not believe other countries are doing this.

Now, having a mask mandate earlier on should have been done.

It IS spreading as I told you was inevitable (as was that you would blame it on Trump btw). Why on earth did you not believe me when I told you that we would all be exposed and that the only thing that we could do was flatten the curve. Somewhere between the first 2 weeks of this and now, you were suckered into thinking that a homemade mask was going to save you the exposure.

But why be depressed? the numbers indicate that this is not nearly as lethal as we thought - less so than we thought even a month ago. You are depressed because the news sources you choose to believe have been peddlig fear for political reasons as we have told you.

The virus is spreading, but the explosion of cases is also very heavily affected by the more widespread testing.

The hospital admissions are also inevitably up, but not at the rate we were worried bout, and the overflow is at this point about 75% because of the shutdown with delay of treatment of all of the other medical issues out there besides COVID which is a factor against shutdown to be considered as they try to achieve the right balance.
At this point, the death rate is dropping which is very encouraging. Also, that vast majority of deaths are exclusively in the elderly and infirm which is a very depressing fact without doubt, but it has not really extended into the general population which is something to be very grateful for.

I am not denying the virus is spreading, but you definitely have been denying the reality of what was to come.

Also, it is not worth living life in constant fear. The media needs that from you to make you accepting of the loss of freedoms needed to hurt Trump, thus they peddle their fear.

You also have to remember that the enemy who did this to us is CHINA, NOT TRUMP. That is also a function of your media manipulation. When is the last time they have ever said anything truly good about Trump - even when he shut down travel to China against their pressure?
