The AstraZeneca/U. of Oxford C-19 leading vaccine comes with a free case of transverse myelitis,

but you really don't need use of your feet and hands anyway since you have the rest of your body, right?

From the NYTimes:

"[A] volunteer in the U.K. trial had been found to have transverse myelitis, an inflammatory syndrome that affects the spinal cord & is often sparked by viral infections.

"AstraZeneca’s vaccine relies on a chimpanzee adenovirus that has been modified to carry coronavirus genes into human cells...

"Adenoviruses can trigger their own immune responses, which could harm the patient without generating the intended form of protection."

Thank you, but I'll sign up for the virus before I sign up for these rushed vaccines. That goes for my family too. And any government that mandates one of these vaccines can go to hell.

Next!

I highly recommend that you reserve judgment &let the process proceed, and remember that this is all

new to the public, but not to,researchers.

They are hurrying, but they will not release something harmful early

When they test many people in last phase, there are sometimes people with unrelated problems that crop up and have to be evalauted for cause and effect With the vaccine.

There are many who benefit if the vaccine effort is not successful - biggest name among these Is China who last month had diplomats expelled from the country because they were trying to hack the vaccine researchers

If there are enough antIvaxers out there to this, then we are going to be living with a shut down for a long time regardless of your point of view on coronavirus.

If the vaccine is rushed and based on incomplete trials, then I won't sign up for it.

The same goes for these masks, which are not designed for hours upon hours of use. I have encouraged my children to only wear when necessary. I can easily see chronic respiratory and teeth issues in the future for people who excessively wear them (such as people who I see in an open air park not even close to another individual).

Regarding this patient who developed transverse myelitis, the article indicates that it was a product of the trial vaccine, not some pre-existing health problem that came up.

I get your point - I'm not an anti-vaccer, as we always get the flu shot and have been vaccinated for everything else that we can possibly be vaccinated for. But I think people are right to be skeptical of a rushed vaccine when, ultimately, this virus mainly affects the fat, diabetic, hypertensive patient, or the elderly, and I and my family do not qualify for any of these conditions.

“Teeth issues.” I chuckled. You’re a perfect Trump voter.

One dentist! And it makes sense - no way teeth can survive exposure to breath.

He not only is wrong about politics, he know can add the medical field to his “fields of expertise”.

I identify as the poster with the most suspensions in UHND history.

It won’t be, but it is guaranteed to claim to have been.
