Sounds like Bob Woodward will be the death strike to Trump
He has on tape Trump knowing the virus was more deadly than anyone every new weeks before he let on publicly.

Publicly, Covid a 'hoax'. Admits on tape, "This is deadly stuff. I always wanted to play it down."

This is probably the 100th “Death Strike” attempt on Trump...
Do you really think it will work this time?

Level 2
If you only read one article on Trump before the election, this would be a good choice
So many interesting bits. And it is not CNN - it is Woodward, who is simply the best there is. Everyone talks to him - if only because they know everyone else is talking to him.
I told this board we were close to a big war with North Korea - now we know the SecDef was sleeping in his clothes during this time (!). Jesus.
Do you respect Mattis's judgment? Woodward spoke to him too.

Read the article...
and I think there's a lot of hearsay.
"Mattis is quoted as saying Trump is "dangerous," "unfit," has "no moral compass" and took foreign policy actions that showed adversaries "how to destroy America." After Mattis left the administration, he and Coats discussed whether they needed to take "collective action" to speak out publicly against Trump. Mattis says he ultimately resigned after Trump announced he was withdrawing US troops from Syria, "when I was basically directed to do something that I thought went beyond stupid to felony stupid."
OK. Until Mattis goes public and corroborates this statement, I'm calling bullshit.
"my f---ing generals are a bunch of pussies" because they cared more about alliances than trade deals. Mattis asked the aide to document the comment in an email to him. And Trump himself criticized military officials to Woodward over their view that alliances with NATO and South Korea are the best bargain the US makes. "I wouldn't say they were stupid, because I would never say that about our military people," Trump said. "But if they said that, they -- whoever said that was stupid. It's a horrible bargain ... they make so much money. Costs us $10 billion. We're suckers."
An aide to Mattis released this info? If it's on tape, I'll give it some credence. If Mattis doesn't corroborate this, I'm calling bullshit again.
I want more information. I'm surprised you jumped on this so fast. Let's see if there's some truth to this shit.

I question Mattis and his motives...
When a military officer reaches the field grade level, they’re pretty much politicians. I don’t like politicians.

“my fucking generals are a bunch of pussies”
That’s on tape, which makes it harder for the cult to deny. Not impossible, of course.

Didn't know they had tape machines when Abraham Lincoln was president.
At least he eventually found Grant.

You really drank the Kool-Aid Trump says...
Do you have any sense that that privilege has isolated and put you in a cave to a certain extent, as it put me, and I think lots of White, privileged people in a cave. And that we have to work our way out of it to understand the anger and the pain, particularly Black people feel in this country. Do you feel–
No. You really drank the Kool-Aid, didn’t you? Just listen to you. Wow. No, I don’t feel that at all.
-
Level 3
Privilege, white or otherwise may get you started more easily but eventually responsibility and
success is determined by how well you perform. It is the nature of a capitalist system no matter what race you may be. The more capable you meet your responsibility the further you succeed. Now, a white man does not and cannot ever put himself in the shoes of a black man regarding peoples' attitude or behavior toward him. However, to think that at least as much dislike does not exist from Black to White by the closed minded Black people is very naive.

Can I get some of that White privilege you speak of? I grew up in a South Philly
row home. 6 kids plus my parents in a 3 bedroom house with one bathroom. Father worked 3 jobs to feed us. Dirt poor but happy.
Then I was newly married, moved to Florida unemployed and worked our asses off to build our life. White privilege did nothing for me, hard work did. Same with my kid getting her scholarship to college for softball. Years of sacrifice and practice did that, not privilege.

I suspect this is similar to the good people on both sides nonsense
A small portion of a larger statement taken completely out of context and blown up by the libs. So Chris is correct I suppose - Trump voters will be unmoved by yet another hit job. Those that hate him will always hate him so the so they'll take a small out of context statement to scream yet again the man is evil.
Normals will shrug and worry about the wildfires, the riots (not the libs care about this as Lehigh notes) home schooling kids, trying to do their own jobs, be a good spouse, good parent, getting kids to practices on time, keeping their lawns in decent shape, being a courteous neighbor. Normals see through this and are unmoved.

If true, that might explain why he shut down traffic with China and Europe before Dems said to.
As Dr. Fauci said, that decision, which Biden called xenophobic, saved countless American lives.

Woodward is the best there is - he talks to everyone.
Not that any of this will put a dent in his support with the cult...but jeez.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the administration's top infectious disease expert, is quoted telling others Trump's leadership was "rudderless" and that his "attention span is like a minus number."
"His sole purpose is to get reelected," Fauci told an associate, according to Woodward.Link: Look at these quotes

If he doesn’t shy away from the statements, he will not be fired but instead fully marginalized and ignored at his job. If he shies away, then the Left loses also.
