Once in office, should Biden attempt to direct his selected Attorney General to investigate

Trump's crimes while in office and his crimes prior to holding office - as in Lock Him Up? or should he set aside his personal feelings for the good of the country - to
break down our differences and begin to unify this country?

Personally, I hope he never directs the DOJ to follow any investigation of Trump, but I do hope SDofNY goes full tilt and jams this crook and his crime family in jail and breaks down
their mob and mob connections. But as far as the presidency of Biden, I hope Biden never promotes any possible Trump criminal investigation nor do I want him to call off any possible
criminal procedures against Trump's crime family. The more uninvolved - other than possible testimony - he is, the better.

That'd be nice but I really hope...

That he directs the DOJ and FBI to go after all the hate groups that have felt confident enough under the Trump admin to show themselves. I'm hoping the FBI has a very large file sitting on a desk waiting for Trump to leave so they can go after these terrorists.

I do hope you are talking about Antifa and BLM but I have a feeling you're not.

But of course there are plenty of people on this board who overlook their crimes only to blame everything on "white supremacists".

I identify as the poster with the most suspensions in UHND history.

Be specific. What are Trumps crimes? What are the crimes of his family? You seem to be an insider so fill us all in.

I think Biden should keep Bill Barr as his AG.

I mean, the Trumpists like the way Billy B protects the power of the Presidency, and don't seem to have a problem with the activist role he takes in going after the President's enemies. Biden supporters want an AG that will prosecute President-Elect's opponents. What better way to unite the country than to keep him as AG?

Might set a precedent by going after the last office holder that Biden would want to avoid for personal reasons. And then there is the prospect of Congressional investigations of the Biden’s foreign shenanigans, especially after the Dems lose the House in the mid terms. Oh! And there are other federal districts beyond the SDNY and they can have other agendas. My guess is that it’s wise to let sleeping dogs lie.

Ah, so now you're blaming Biden and the DOJ for this Pandemic too? Interesting.

I actually look forward to having a DOJ that does not receive any direction from the White House

I also look forward to having a president who actually values the institutions of the United States and its Constitution.

Trump and his idiot circus are showing their true colors, and his followers are showing their true disregard for anything but their cult leader.

So... it's ok for the DOJ to look into how Hunter's foreign shenanigans may have profited Joe?
