Damn - RIP Dolly
The story of her saying 'no' to Tom Parker is legendary. Later on when she was told that Whitney Houston was going to record 'I Will Always Love You', she said she was thrilled because she knew Whitney would crush it and that it would make her a lot of money. 'I was right on both counts', was her reaction.
A true American legend.

Social Awareness is not his strong suit...from personal experience, he took a Memorial Day post
honoring a WWII Vet and turned it into a Hit Piece on a poster he didn't like...par for the course with this guy.

Not even close to your trashing of Charlie Kirk the day he was murdered.
Don't pretend to have decency that you lack.

Level 6
Nice try, but you don't appreciate the HUGE difference between Dolly and Kirk...Dolly loved others
and was non-political...whereas Charlie literally hated Muslims, Minorities and LGBTQ+ people...and wasn't shy about saying so...and was All-Politics...All the Time... He made it his life's work to sow division...and many, including myself recognized that Legacy.
Note my post above showing Dolly's affection for the LGBTQ+ community...as well as the everyday Country Folk in Texas, Tennessee...etc. Easy to see her as an example to follow...not so for Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk did not hate those people. Another falsehood
He didn't like the woke messaging from the left about those people. You are more than entitled to your opinion but not your own facts.

This wasn't about Dolly. Nice try.
This was about your shot at Hensou regarding his reply to you months back.
As for Charlie Kirk, you're simply lying again. He hated no one. Loved everyone. Walked in faith. You were vile to say the things you did.

Read my response to Mark H...
As for the motivation for my post...Hensou, and now you, both divert the discussion away from comments about Dolly Parton's life...i.e. both lacking in Social Awareness.

It was a polite suggestion. Don’t overreact.

Dolly was a good human being but not perfect.
Did she have any comment about drag queen story hour for children? Any comment about the "educational" porn targeting children in libraries? How about gender affirming surgeries for children? Rare but it happens. Any comment on 3rd tri abortions? Was she cool with pride flags in classrooms and the forced education that goes with it? What's her thoughts on little boys wearing dresses and little girls dressing up like little boys because the parents of the Chicago burbs believe it's the "in" thing to do? Was she ever asked about tranny men playing in women's sports? Was she ever asked what is a woman? There's a lot more to this than saying I support gays and trans. The business side of Dolly was at work with her public comments.
