The meat of filing is paragraphs 127-137.
Paragraphs 92-126 are also worth reading.
States have always been in charge of voting. Trump can't pass the SAVE Act. Knowing that a free and fair election will strip Trump's control of Congress, Trump is endeavoring to suffocate voters under the false pretense that mail-in voting is crooked. Four new USPS Board Trump appointees are all election deniers.

We need to solve this problem once and for all, and we have the technology for it. Online voting.
Hacking would become a huge problem, especially with AI's being trained to subvert/control the vote.
I think this is one area in which we need to go backwards in tech, not forward. Hell, I wouldn't be opposed to using electoral ink, which stains the finger to make it impossible for someone to vote twice (in person, of course).

In fact your entire interaction with the government should be through a single online portal. We have the technology.
Banks are motivated to have a foolproof, trusted system, and even they get hacked sometimes, and it will get worse.
Do you think government bureaucrats are as motivated and talented as those setting up online banking?
You are thinking about what is possible. I am thinking about how the "possible" will be actually implemented and used.
We have the technology. Can the government implement it and use it successfully in ways that are transparent and cannot be subverted?

Online secure. I work with law enforcement from time to time on theft from our equipment. They basically told me - hackers have what they need to steal from the majority of people, they just haven’t gotten to everyone yet. That and some just don’t have anything worth stealing.
Hacks happen but can be easily recovered from with the right safeguards in place. Plus we got ClaudeMythosAI.gov to protect us!
Always fall in the Democrats favor. Im good with them burning.
If so, we might be able to have a conversation about this.
Nothing is foolproof. But some ways are harder to implement district-wide, state-wide or nation-wide systemic fraud than others. The old technologies would require a lot people coordinating their actions, and therefore much more likely to be discovered (in theory...you do do hear stories of ballot boxes being pre-stuffed and then discovered in closets when needed). The high tech ways (anything that involves using the internet instead of another communications protocol) may be done by tech centers in China.

Ballot for special circumstance, ask for one. A mail in ballot should not be automatically sent.
