You guys cheer because the Dear Leader does nothing wrong. By definition.

But this is shameful. And so damaging in the long run.

They'll figure it out when, after the election, this "deal" is non-existent and prices go back up.

The deal may or may not go through. It may be delayed or modified. You pre-judging it is pure hysteria.

Wait and see what happens.

This is a deal we forced on them. Our oil companies will benefit.

Taking another country’s resources is what Russia does. What the Nazis did. Not what we did…until Trump.

Gas prices will go down until after the election and then Trump and his oligarchs will jack them back up and go back to making the profits they were before.

Amazing how many people will continue to believe a lifelong pathological and compulsive liar while systematically getting their pockets cleaned out.

From AI Mode, the operation breached major legal frameworks:

Under Article 2(4) of the UN Charter, nations are strictly forbidden from using force against the territorial integrity or political independence of another sovereign state. Legal scholars state the exceptions—such as an explicit United Nations Security Council mandate or direct self-defense against an imminent armed attack—did not apply to this situation. Experts emphasize that nations cannot unilaterally enforce domestic criminal warrants inside foreign territory without that state's consent.

Under Article I of the U.S. Constitution, Congress holds the sole power to declare war. Critics argue the extensive bombing of Venezuelan infrastructure and the deployment of special forces into Caracas constituted an unconstitutional act of war initiated entirely by the executive branch without congressional notification or approval.

The War Powers Resolution: Enacted in 1973, this resolution requires the president to consult with and notify Congress regarding military hostilities. Lawmakers noted that the administration failed to provide advance notice or consult with congressional leadership before executing the raid.

In with Iran. Margins were sitting at like nickel to a dime a gallon. Now they are sitting at fifty cents a gallon. You should not see price changes jumping around from day to day. No way these stations are going through a of fuel delivery in a day. Places like COSTCO and Buc-ees, yes, but not the smaller places. They are just ripping off the customer and aren’t shy about it.

...read about it in this AI Summary...

--------------------
AI Overview

Rebuilding Venezuela's dilapidated oil field infrastructure is estimated to cost between $100 billion and $183 billion over a decade or more to return production to historic peaks.

Cost Breakdown & EstimatesTotal Overhaul: Independent energy consultants like Rystad Energy estimate total spending could hit up to $183 billion to fully modernize upstream operations and fix decayed pipelines.

Annual Investment: Experts suggest it requires roughly $10 billion per year in sustained capital over 10 years to meaningfully scale output back toward historical levels of 3 million to 4 million barrels per day.State Estimates: Venezuela's state-owned oil company, PDVSA, has previously estimated that fixing the worst of the broken infrastructure to reach peak capacity would cost at least $58 billion.

Refining and Power: Restoring the country's ruined domestic refining network alone could require an extra $20 billion, alongside major repairs to the unstable national electrical grid.

Key ChallengesTimeframe: Even with immediate funding, experts project it will take 5 to 10 years (or until 2040) to make major headway.

Heavy Crude Complexity:Security & Risk: Decades of neglect, looting, power outages, and deferred maintenance mean massive initial capital is required just to secure and clear out abandoned fields
