Yesterday was one of the great days ever at the U.S. Open.

Both womens quarters went 3 sets, with Sabalenka pulling out an incredible tie breaker with the Wimbledon champ in the third.

Tiafoe won one of the most emotional matches you will ever see, beating his friend and rising American after going down 2 sets to none.

Pegula played the last dramatic match, coming back after getting blitzed in the first set.

Finally, Shelton over Alcaraz is simply an all-time great. 5 sets. 5th set tiebreaker. 3:34am. The crowd stayed and made a lot of noise.

Foe / Ben will be fantastic

Two very likable Americans battling for a trip to the finals. Can’t wait. I’m leaning toward cheering for Big Foe, if only because he is older and his window is smaller.

Either Ben or Foe, it would be fantastic to end the US men’s majors drought - and at the US Open, no less.

      I'm torn.

I want Foe because he's older and much more likable.

I want Shelton because he can beat Zverev in the final. Not sure Foe can unless his serve is on from the beginning.

Jessica Pegula's parents, Terry and Kim Pegula, are the owners of the Buffalo Bills and the...

...Buffalo Sabres, and her siblings are also involved in the business.

Kim Pegula, her Mom, grew up in Fairport, NY, a suburb of Rochester.

    Indeed.

Although, the tournament and ESPN have to plan better for scheduling.

Starting a match after 11:00 PM EDT robs so many tennis fans (especially young ones) from enjoying an epic match.

Magically awoke to watch 5th set tiebreaker. Really cool.

Not sure who I am rooting for in Foe v Ben semifinal.
