Why are federal funds spent on the Kennedy Center? We have a surplus???
Adding Trump's name to it is stupid, but it needs to be sold to a private sector entity regardless.

For decades, the Kennedy Center has hosted great events and productions. It’s a big deal for those who live near our nation’s capitol.

You don't think the private sector would step in if federal funds were cut for the Kennedy Center? I think the private sector would step up. If it won't, then maybe it isn't worth the money.
We are spending $1.8 trillion that we don't have, every year. Maybe "the arts" is a luxury we can't currently afford. Let's balance the budget, then we can talk about supporting the arts with tax dollars.

Personally, I think the arts are entirely discretionary, whereas the safety of POTUS is not.
