Acquiescing to your momentary aversion to reading reputable references...here's my opinion...built upon my own readings of such sources...
Trump's illegal War with Netanyahu against Iran has definitely made any Democrat-led resolution exceedingly difficult, especially since he's still got veto power. Iran now has a...pardon the expression..."Trump Card" with the Strait of Hormuz to use in any deal...so the Dems will have to find ways to work with Allies, along with China and Russia to zero in on what worked under Obama with the JCPOA...i.e. threats of more seizures and freezing of Iranian assets, while insisting on the return of IAEA nuclear program inspectors who would be given full access to the entire country.
Along with that, Dems need to re-emphasize the need for a commitment by Israel to the long-held "Two State" Solution and build worldwide consensus to that objective. They also need to make it clear that the U.S. will always stand by Israel's right to exist, while at the same time pointing a finger at Israeli Zionists (incl. Bibi) and finding ways to diminish them (targeted financial restraints) if they won't agree. The hope is that Bibi will be voted out of office and a more moderate government established.
At the same time, the Dem Congress should establish long term policy that favors working with new Palestinian Leaders who also accept the Two State Solution...and rebuilding relations with Saudi Arabia and the ME accord that the Biden Admin was about to achieve, before the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.
BTW...Once again...the "Pallets of Case" contained Iranian Money that was Frozen just for such a use (return) that produced the Nuclear Weapons Control in the JCPOA...which worked perfectly. (I'm happy to repeat the justification for that remark if you don't get it)
