If you're not familiar, let me catch you up. The Republican Congress let the ACA subsidies expire causing the ACA premiums to skyrocket and price out people who needed it.
Trump knows the Republican party will lose the midterms and found a way to send checks with a nice personalized letter claiming the Biden admin overcharged them.
Thoughts?
The refund is the refund of excess ACA marketplace user fees, not the refunds of someone’s premium payments.
I’m against a $500 uniform refund check. Some people who got sick more used the portal more, got charged more, therefore got overcharged more. They should get more refunds. Some young people who don’t get sick probably won’t use the portal even once a year. They got less even no overcharged on user fees. For this reason I against a uniform refund check.
My response is non political, more detailed and fairly reasoned. More importantly, no link needed. I hope someone can learn from it.
question...millions of people are in danger of losing vital Health Care with no alternative left, other than Emergency Rooms for them and their children. That's not what any caring President should be doing.
Btw, it will be noticed when those people...in Red States as well as Blue...vote. From just a political standpoint, that's just plain idiotic.
