is there any doubt that our future will very soon have a lot less fossil fuels?...let's all get behind an aggressive energy policy that includes Nuclear Power and Renewables...ASAP...so much needs to change.

Look at GM’s Bolt numbers for Q421. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Won't it be wondrous when all the slum-dwellers of Indonesia own EV 'Vettes?

You people are cultist fools. Fossil fuels will remain the planet's primary energy source for decades to come. As in, at least until 2050.

I applaud (and own a shit ton of) Tesla. More power to them.

But a reality check is needed.

Just make sure the EV's are full sized.

The slum-dwellers will be eating a lot of cake, so they will need big cars.

performance engines (I can do without the noise) I do like the sound of petrol fueled engines. I do not like the high-pitched whine
of some of the electric cars.

Anyway, sad day - getting off the fossil fuel train has its drawbacks.

I think it will eventually be sad when the government adds the speed limit restrictor to the program

I guess once your car is fully self driving...pubs may get a boost.

Do people who attended the Jan. 6 rally deserve to have their cars operate?

After all, driving is not a right. And, I could see turning off people's engines if those people are deemed unsavory to the ruling party...I could see that happening on an action against the property (like asset forfeiture) instead of an action against the person, such that no trial would be required. Who could argue against such a reasonable restriction?
