Not just a statement, but suggested actions to essentially eliminate the need for abortions...

In my experience, women have control of at least 50% of the money and 100% of the pussy in any relationship or encounter.

cause of each and every unwanted pregnancy that then leads to any abortion...legal or illegal...that follows....all they (men) have to do is...act "Responsibly"...and there's the Rub (pardon the phrase)...but Ms. Blair doesn't just stop there...she provides a real world view of how men can do their part in dramatically reducing the tragedy of abortion...if they truly care....here's an excerpt from her article that demonstrates this...
--------------------
"In contrast, let’s look at birth control for men — i.e., condoms. They’re readily available at all hours, inexpensive, convenient, and don’t require a prescription. They’re effective and work on demand, instantly. They don’t cause aneurysms, mood swings, or debilitating cramps. Men can keep them stocked up just in case, so they’re always prepared. They can be easily used at the last minute. I mean, condoms are magic! So much easier than birth control options for women.
As a bonus, most women are totally on board with condoms. They keep us from getting STDs. They don’t lessen our pleasure during sex or prevent us from climaxing. The best part? Cleanup is so much easier — no waddling to the toilet as jizz drips down our legs.
So why would there ever be unwanted pregnancies? Why don’t men just use condoms every time they have sex? Seems so simple, right?
Oh. I remember. Men don’t love condoms. In fact, it’s very, very common for men to pressure women to have sex without a condom. It’s also not unheard of for men to remove the condom during sex without the women’s permission or knowledge. (Pro tip: That’s assault.)
Why would men want to have sex without a condom? Because, for the precious minutes when they’re penetrating their partner, not wearing a condom gives them more pleasure. So… that would mean some men are willing to risk getting a woman pregnant — which means literally risking her life, her health, her social status, her relationships, and her career — so they can experience a few minutes of slightly increased pleasure. Is this for real?
Yes. Yes, it is."
------------------------
How do we put this solution into effect?...pass the word to fellow males and sons...make sure all of them are properly educated...at home...and in school.
btw, it would be a good idea to also do what I suggested earlier...pass Ms. Blair's article around to all the women as well...Lord knows they've taken a beating over abortions...let them know we'll be doing all we can to make things right and help stop abortions.
Plus, as the article states, they only have to play defense for around 24 days a year. And then there's Plan B pills, doesn't seem too onerous.
Also, this is why the decision to get an abortion is 100% the choice of pregnant women, the sperm donor has no say. You seem to want to have it both ways, "it's 100% my decision, but 100% your fault."
"Play Defense" every single day if, like many, they are using 'The Pill'...
And...I'll repeat it again for you...women can't impregnate themselves, so if the man ALWAYS uses a condom, then there's never a need for an abortion decision...it all starts with the man being "Responsible"...FACT...guys just need to be EDUCATED...and COMMITTED to safe and abortion free sexual encounters, and we're DONE with this problem...
Hardly any money involved, other than condoms and Sex Ed teacher salaries (plus materials to help parents and adults who need them)...then we're off to fight other issues.
Oops!...there's one little 'fly in the ointment', though...our Catholic Church doesn't like the idea of "Contraception",,,even though "Everyone Does It"...need to deal with that...soon.
I know this may come as a shock to you but, not everything on the internet is true.
unwanted pregnancies and no need for abortions...BINGO!...problem solved...btw, if the couple wants to have kids, he just takes it off...no side effects AT ALL...no STDs, either...what an incredibly simple and effective solution...
If you REALLY care about stopping abortions, why aren't you 100% behind this?
btw, use your "Terms of Endearment" if you wish, but their efficacy is zero and only serve to show how weak your argument is...like in this case.

"A Modest Proposal"...as opposed to a more jocular offering. Her article is 100% true in its premise...but by no means 100% achievable in practice...nonetheless, it points us all in the right direction.
One thing it's definitely not, is "Vapid".
with the women in their lives...then report back to the board on their reactions as well...

admit you haven't read...seems like you're enjoying playing the "troll" for awhile...no?
btw, why are you so reluctant to discuss the rape and incest case for abortion I presented?...your response should be on the tip of your tongue...out with it.
You know, with your constant badgering about me not answering "Your Question" (which I already have)...you are starting to sound like a graduate of the 'Tucker Carlson' school of debating....

Sad but, not surprising. Just a a vengeful wind bag ranting about punishing men because they are responsible for all of the world's suffering.
acts "Responsibly" then there will be ZERO unwanted pregnancies...and therefore, no unwanted CHILD to be aborted...at least, that's what I got out of it...
She also suggested several means by which men could act more responsibly, with less effort on their part than what women currently have to endure...WIN...WIN...why wouldn't everyone who cares about the abortion issue want to delve deeper into that proposal?...seriously.
Even with actions that are equally "easy" for both men and women. Like buying condoms. Women can buy a drawer full of condoms just as easy as men can.
She also implies that women can't say no and are completely helpless from the "pressure" men put on them. That would be a sad commentary on women.
Then she ignores obvious situations where women can lie or manipulate men into sex. "Don't worry, I'm on the pill. It's safe." Or "I don't care, I want you to cum in me so bad" or "it's ok, I'm not ovulating."
And why doesn't every woman INSIST on a condom? Aren't women concerned about anything other than pregnancy. Like oh, I don't know.....FUCKING STDs!!!!!
And oh yeah. Again, no mention of the killing of a child. Only the pain or inconvenience to women matters.
She's an idiot. Not surprised that you found the piece "thought provoking" and interesting.
part, or men in general..wonder why we can't make any progress on this issue...
To your "points"...
>You immediately avoid accountability by shifting responsibility for a Man's contraceptive onto a Woman!...what's up with that?...that's hardly an example of "Accountability".
>She's not denying women's willingness to participate in sex...just pointing out that if men really want to avoid unwanted pregnancies and possible abortions, they (men) need to be motivated to do the 'right thing' by actually using condoms each and every time...without the woman having to remind them...you know...act like "Adults".
>Now you're saying that men are "Helpless" when it comes to having 'Responsible Sex'..."Can't do it...we can't control our urges...you'll have to be the one to use Birth Control"...WEAK!!
>Fair point for women insisting on the use of condoms...let's make sure that every parent...and every school program includes this in childhood development...AND promotes it in adult forums for those who obviously haven't gotten the message yet.
>This article is all about ending abortions...and you know adherence to her premise would indeed end them...what more could you ask for?
>She is the antithesis of an "Idiot"...which then, by your comment, puts the label on you.
Fighting against an obvious and simple course of action to resolve the problem of abortion is not helpful...the logic is clear...use it.
I did so by pointing out clear examples where women SHARE responsibility with men. Nowhere did I ever "shift" responsibility onto women. Unless of course, you consider that saying that men aren't 100% responsible for every unwanted pregnancy in history is shifting the blame.
And I NEVER suggested status quo. I'm quite clearly in the camp of overturning Roe v Wade and having legislation at the State level. I'm pretty sure that's not status quo.
"Pregnancies happen when men have an orgasm. Unwanted pregnancies happen when men orgasm irresponsibly."
As regards "Shared Responsibility", that should be the foundation of any sexual encounter...i.e. both parties ought to be educated and committed to the concept of "Responsibility"...now look, neither Ms. Blair (with six kids), nor I are trying to be "Utopian" with the use of "100%" statements...but the logic of it shows how effective it can be if serious effort is made to communicate the need for such a change in 'attitude' and awareness. Right now, I see ZERO percent effort toward "Sharing Responsibility" for stopping/reducing abortions among BOTH men and women...let's change that.
Further toward the involvement of Men...here are Ms. Blair's closing remarks...
--------------------
"If you’re a man, what would it take for you to never again ejaculate irresponsibly? A loss of money, rights, or freedoms? Physical pain? Ask yourselves: What would it take for you to value the life of your sexual partner more than your own temporary pleasure or convenience?
Men mostly run our government, and men mostly make our laws. In theory, men could eliminate — or drastically reduce — abortions within months without ever touching an abortion law or even mentioning women. They’d simply need to hold men accountable for irresponsible ejaculations, and legislate accordingly.
To reduce or eliminate abortions, stop attempting to control women’s bodies and sexuality. Because unwanted pregnancies are caused by men."

Were the fathers polled to ask if they were actually men?
Can men get pregnant?
Do you have such an utter disregard for women that you support men competing against women, and you support nominating men for woman of the year?
Funny to hear the Left suddenly adopt the Right's view on sex and DNA because it suits them politically. Politics dictates religion for you, and it dictates science for you.
You still haven't answered my question below, by the way.

hard to take...
btw, I've responded to your post below.
I have no interest in reading your link.
You really are disingenuous. You argue the isolated special cases...just so you can have abortion all the time at the whim of the woman. You should try to be more honest.
I have always found that the best way to be a good debater, is to be willing to adopt the most easily (by logic) defensible positions. You appear to be a great orator/debater when you only choose to defend the most defensible positions.
You, on the other hand, have adopted an indefensible position. So, you have to resort to noise, tricks, smoke and mirrors of a lot of words and links people won't read, to give the impression that you have a logical position, when really your position is totally indefensible, and you never actually offer a logical defense of it.
abortion needs to legal...as per Roe v. Wade..,it's hard to think of it as "Indefensible"...so, I'm interested in exactly why you make that assertion...the floor is yours...
btw, the link is at the very least provocative...it's hard to deny that if the man in every sexual encounter acts "Responsibly" there will be NO UNWANTED PREGNANCIES!...Ta-Da!...PROBLEM SOLVED!...makes sense to me....she even uses language that many on this board can identify with ;-)...
btw, you may not realize it, but I do try my best to provide legitimate and informative material with my links...I'll continue to do so, if only for those who read these threads but don't often , or ever, participate...those folks do exist...

Yeah, because they're obviously 6% of the population.
But let's see. If trans people are .01% of the population, they're only overrepresented by a factor of 600x on these TV/streaming shows. Okaaayyy...
to the abortion issue and sharing your reactions to what was said?...you know...be "Substantive"...there's no harm in trying.
...where one does or doesn't stick their junk. But heterosexuals are hung up. Gotcha.
Answer: Obviously nothing, but I'll take any and all opportunities to encourage "substance" from you.
