Does the sight of a gun in your presence scare you? Have you ever held a pistol or a long rifle?

How would you keep guns, especially pistols, out of the hands of thugs and evil doers, those who are not law abiding citizens, after all law abiding citizens have turned in their guns to governmental authorities, i.e., local police, sheriffs, state or federal authorities, the gun control czar's offices?

Would you support federal or state statutes allowing any government agency to review your social media accounts with or without a warrant?

Impressive list of fallacy arguments you’ve made. You question my history in handling a gun,

as if that has any bearing on a gunman shooting and killing innocent and unawares school children in the middle of study. You also question my relevance in the discussion of a murdering gunman. You imply my association with guns is in fear.
Then you imply I want law abiding citizen gun owners to turn in their guns and shouldn’t have guns anymore. Then you imply I want a gun czar - like an all seeing eye overlordship scrutinizing the honest and good people of our nation.
Then you imply free speech, rights to privacy, government invasion of dwellings are all up for grabs by those who would object to how a gunman can obtain weapons to be a gunman shooting to death shoppers, school children, worshippers, concert goers, in transit weekday workers en masse.

All this when the argument should be how can we stop the murder of our nation’s citizens at the hands of gunman who use guns to gun down their prey?

Attacking my credibility as a citizen doesn’t boost your credibility or your multiple fallacy arguments one iota. All it does is support the murder and murdering of all past and future victims who are injured and die by the gun.

Let’s talk about how to restrict sales of guns, gun responsibility and gun regulations of assault weapons and not talk silly 2nd amendment fantasies.

It sounds like he just had a rifle and a handgun, so by Texas standards he was hardly armed at all.

Mental illness and the inability to identify and treat it is the other huge issue.

10 people one day, 14 people (mostly small children) the next. Just another day in "the greatest country in the world."

Outlaw guns (maybe with an exception for single round hunting rifles, registered, background check required - no felons or mental illness qualify) AND (here's the part you won't like Jimmy boy) mandatory life sentence, without eligibility for parole, for anyone that uses a gun (loaded or not) in the commission of ANY crime.

Far too many guns already in circulation. And far too many people won't give them up. Finally, if we did put people away for life for using a gun in the commission of a crime, be ready to build 3x the number of prisons we have now.

Instead let’s just offer thoughts and prayers. That has always helped in the past.

There's a story behind every tragedy. You don't know shit. You are reactive in the most painfully lazy way. What kind of weapon(s) did he have? Was he legally licensed? Why did he apparently kill his grandmother? There is so much to sort out to try and understand why mass killings happen , from shootings to running over people at a parade. There is a major problem with these people behind their weapon of choice. Everyone is hurting over this. You don't own the sadness we all are feeling for the families.

not by a gun.

The other significant tragedy in this is your type of thinking. The do nothing and ignore there is a gun problem in this country.

How many warning signs have been missed in all these mass killings? How many knew something but said nothing over fear of being a snitch? You are not a serious person. Talking points is all you have and expect talking points to be the solution. You can fart out your predicable uninformed opinion the rest of the evening and I will wait for more info to be gathered by law enforcement so we can get a better picture of why.
