Following on the negative print for the first quarter in the official numbers.

Joe's going to have to write lots of nasty-grams to random CEO's between now and November.

This is assuming that "GDPNow" has figured out why their "Pandemic Era" forecasts have been so

erratic. (see link)

Once again...our current problems are rooted in COVID and Putin's War...both of those very serious problems are being worked on.

Speaking of Putin's War...just because bombs, missiles and bullets aren't flying here in the U.S., doesn't mean that we are immune to it...no one should expect prices at the gas pump...and with many other commodities...to be what they were before these current shocks to our economy...this is not to say we do nothing to reduce the pain...and we aren't...just that expectations need to be rationalized.

Biden hasn't been asleep at the wheel economically (see attached link)...unlike his predecessor...and the entire GOP...who rammed through a non-productive handout to corporations and America's wealthiest, as their one and only significant piece of legislation in four years.

Can you imagine how bad the inflation outlook would be if the Bernie-Biden Boondoggle had passed?

BTW, there are only a few days left in the quarter. Most of the data is in. Take a stand, cowardly lion. Over or under?
