But let’s talk about R politicians who pivot. McCarthy on the insurrection along with T. Cruz, L. Graham, M. McConnell, oh hell, all but a handful of R’s immediately after the insurrection was quelled, derided those who would attack democracy only to “pivot” days and even hours later.
That is only a tiny sampling of R’s pivoting. We would need years of dialogue to cover R pivots of the Trump era.
