You know that the Colbert people weren't in the Capitol building and they were detained
because their credentials showed they were to leave earlier, and they didn't. They were unescorted at that point in the Congressional building next door.

earlier in the day. This was the same building where AOC recounted her harrowing rape like experience during the 1/06 protest.
They were banging on the doors of Representatives Boubert, Jordon, and others.
They have extreme political beliefs in stark opposition to those they threatened.
They were given the exact same charge as the 1/6 protestors for threatening Congressman in this building connected to congress by a tunnel.
Why do you try to mitigate their actions because the particular building within the same complex with the same congress people happens to be different?
Also, these people had been kicked out already- a warning not afforded to the 1/06 protestors.
Um, no, they were held for trespassing. And no, they didn't threaten anyone. And no, they were
invited to the Congressional offices to conduct interviews for a segment on a late-nite comedy show.

I have sympathy for chris. He spends his day preaching to students who either don’t care or are
