Can we at least find agreement on China's horrible behavior regarding Pelosi's Taiwan visit?
I loathe Pelosi with a white hot passion, but China cannot threaten a US representative who might travel there nor the country for accepting a US representative....ever.
It is frustrating watching China get away with unbelievable behavior as partisans in our country look the other way.
Can we agree on this, or do we have a permanent, irreconcilable schism in this country?
If we agree, then maybe we could go on to protect all 9 of our SCOTUS members....but another day.

I would think floating it, leading to the public threat (granted, from a minor PRC official), and then not going (while pretending that you never intended to go) would show more weakness than anything. She almost has to go, now that China has double-dog-dared her to do it.

Even I know China won't. She created this opportunity for china to score a huge PR win and for US to get humiliated. It is totally unnecessary.
