He needs a scapegoat for our own economic problems and the Putin gas tax fits the bill perfectly.
By most accounts, Putin's invasion is stalled and he doesn't have the resources to jack it up again.
Right now there's a stalemate that could last a long time.
With more western weapons, however, the Ukrainians could retake Kherson and end Putin's plan for a land bridge across southern Ukraine.
Some reports already have Putin planning to flee.
Maybe we should offer him asylum?
THAT would send a strong message to Xi.

It’s pretty simple…Ukraine, EU and Biden want Putin defeated…
as soon as possible, without escalation…there’s lots to be done once he is removed….regardless of the time frame, the goal is still the same.
