Judge orders DOJ to unseal Trump Raid Warrant by Mon. Looks like a long & creative weekend at the WH

Same judge (undoubtedly not wanting to be a shield in the crossfire for the DOJ).

They will have to play their cards, and with it public, they will need to show evidence and justification. This won't be the cake walk that it was for the Steele Dossier warrant lies. Initially, the DOJ will list their biggest suspicions and the libs here will act like they are facts. But then, the case will have to be made to justify the raid based on their evidence - that will be interesting...and on the record.

Then, those people would have to get jobs that actually contribute to the GDP.

And no tax returns ever year. How awesome would that be.

And the rich would have to pay the flat tax, instead of paying people to get them out of paying any taxes.

I’m sure some will likely be investigators, if the google is right and they exist.

I’m sure more will get the backlog of returns completed more on time.

And, notice, that Yellen told the IRS not to go after anyone making less than 400K…though I’m sure people will just say that’s for show.

They find you owe no matter what. You know they are wrong, so you fight for a while. You realize it is going to cost you more than the amount they say you owe to continue fighting to the end, and their resources are inexhaustible. So, you agree to pay. Then they know they had you, and they discount there asking price to their originally goal amount (because their ask was high to begin with...this was a negotiation, and they asked for more than they thought they were entitled to), and dismiss the case. Then they move on to the next guy.

Then again, maybe they have a different process for Democrat donors. Hmmm. Yeah, you will probably have a much better experience.

The search warrant affidavit is the “meat” of a search warrant.

Author: conorlarkin (20739 Posts - Original UHND Member)

Posted at 9:18 pm on Aug 10, 2022

It is the narrative of the “ask” — the justification as to why law enforcement believes that fruits of a specified crime will be found in a particular place. There must be probable cause — that is a “fair probability” why law enforcement believes fruits of a crime will be discovered in the place to be searched. Probable cause requires some level of corroboration to match what the informants provide.

The search warrant is the cover sheet, — what the judge signs to authorize the search and articulate the scope of the search.

But, regarding sealing and unsealing a search warrant, the search warrant and the affidavit go hand in hand.

The federal magistrate directed DOJ to reply to media motion to unseal warrant.

The Court did not order DOJ to unseal the warrant. Rather, he’s asking DOJ to provide the Court with the legal authority why media outlets ought not have access to an ongoing investigation.

If the point of the search (or seizure) warrant was to recover stolen highly classified national security material, then my guess is that DOJ will oppose sharing highly classified information with the public.

Assuming the media outlet’s motion is denied, then your ilk will kick ‘n scream about a conspiracy to plant evidence to taint your boy.

Someday, your Crazy Train ride will end.

And considering the FBI knows that President Trump can release the warrant at any time, this should be pretty straightforward. The affidavit would be different.

A raid rather than a subpoena for the specific documents in question? Obviously there are two points of view on whether the documents were properly taken by Trump. Why not prove they shouldn’t have been in court? Was it necessary to have agents with those dreaded AR-15 look-alikes loitering around? Isn’t it strange that 80% of the media considers this raid proof of guilt? Etc etc etc

Trump signed a bill that increases the punishment for doing so back in 2018.

"Tucked into a bill Trump signed into law in January 2018 was a provision increasing the punishment for knowingly removing classified materials with the intent to retain them at an “unauthorized location.”
"...a person convicted of violating this law can face up to five years in prison ― making it a felony-level offense to mishandle classified documents under 18 U.S.C. 1924."

Yes, it was necessary for the FBI to do their jobs following protocol. The only reason we know the warrant was served was because Trump told us it happened.
Otherwise, we might not have known about it for some time.

No it isn't strange - He has straddled breaking the law all his life and has been found guilty of fraud several times. Once with charities, once with his Trump University ...
He has cheated on his taxes, withheld payment to contractors, has attempted a coup of the government, tried to change vote counts in Georgia, falsely presented
electoral ballots to change the outcome of the last election...

He's lied to Americans for the last 6 years - Let's see, hmmmmmm! He was asked to return the 15 boxes of material to their proper place, didn't send back all the classified material having instead
placed documents in his safe....

Let's try and figure this out - why would (by your figures) 80% of the media side with the guilty side? Gee, I cannot imagine why. Maybe you can help out...

wasn't ordered to pay a fine for his fraudulent charities and ordered (as well as his family) from creating anymore charities. He hasn't lied on his taxes
vis a vis showing properties worth X then claiming in bank statements they are worth XY and he isn't being questioned in those cases in NY State. He
didn't ask Georgia voting official to find him 11K + votes. He didn't present Pence with phony electoral counts. He didn't withhold payments to
contractors in NYC for work on his companies properties. All this is made up.

He wasn't impeached twice. He didn't conspire to overturn the 2020 elections. He didn't foment violence at the Capitol Building on 1/6.

None of it happened. It's all a hoax.

As for Mar a Lago - why would anyone think he has in his possession sensitive and classified documents that are not for him to take?

It's all partisan crap imagined by the D's.

Maybe everyone should just chill and let it play out.

Agreed it’s unprecedented. As is Trump and his actions to date, including ignoring subpoenas.

Do FBI agents carry AR-15s? That would also be odd. But…you probably made that up.

And now you care about what the media says? Why now?

And none of that changes the fact that Baron has posted about this 457 (approximate) times in the past day.

Yesterday. Of course he accused me of defending Trump. But the fact that we agree troubles me.

Cool. Did you post the same to Baron, Cole, etc.?

I heard down at Baskin Robbins that they are also going to forgive all student debt and pack the court before the election.

You should really take a break and enjoy some like outside of politics.

Haha. I like how Lancey thinks ignoring subpoenas is "unprecedented." So is bleachbit.

Did they use M-16s back then?

Because no one does now.

Seems like only 8,000 police departments still use them.

I think Lance thinks they are more different than they are.

This is an M-16 M-4 distinction, you are making, I presume? You think they have replaced all of them? Maybe. Either way, you are actually weakening your credibility.
