There is good cause why this search warrant is unprecedented.
No other US President was ever cavalier in handling classified documents because they understood the risks that Americans and American assets took in obtaining the intelligence in the first place. Respecting the national security protocols in handling classified material = respect for those who gather the intelligence. Trump never gave a shit about anyone other than himself.
No other US President ever stole classified documents upon leaving office.
No other US President would have refused to return classified material, even when asked discreetly to do so, and certainly after receiving a subpoena.
No other US President would contemplate using the classified material for personal or monetary gain, or destroying the classified material.
No other US President would risk having the classified material fall into the wrong hands. Mar-a-Lago is not a secure facility.
Even giving Trump every benefit of the doubt (why would we?), his actions regarding this classified material was egregious. The execution of the search warrant was the proper remedy.
There is no reason for any POTUS to physically take classified documents from the Whitehouse
other than to monetize them.

I fully appreciate should could not be telling the truth. For months the Feds and Team Trump were communicating and then suddenly the Feds stopped. As she called it "a gap" between their conversations and the raid.
This would be very easy to verify so it wouldn't behoove her to lie. But she could be.
Nothing was going as planned. Trump stalled, delayed, lied and would not
return all documents. The DOJ put out a list and dates of all contact with Trump and his lawyers. He has as given a subpoena in June.
He should have returned the documents immediately upon first request. He didn’t.
