....lots of documents that the DOJ iteself does not have the privilege to review has now been handled and moved without witnesses who were banned from observing.
The DOJ itself has broken the law in seizing some of these materials.
This is because, as Alan Dershowitz said, they were on a fishing expedition for Jan 6 info as well that might be seized (which would have bypassed much of Trump's 5th and 4th amendment protections). In broadening what they decided to take for this reason, they are now in deep crap as is the country - hopelessly divided yet again.
Another issue here is why they did this heavy handed, moronic approach when the Trump people had cooperated with the previous subpoena. There was no reason to think that they wouldn't have cooperated again.
But in their eagerness to get trump, the Keystone Cops fumbled over themselves yet again.
