It creates an institutional disadvantage to immigrant. At same time generous social policies based welfare state is unsustainable. In the end you ruin the country with broken society and poverty.

We need to raise the retirements age and means test instead of importing foreign contributors. As horrific as this green virtue signaling pay off to Dem base bill was it pales compared to the SS, Medicare tab.

We agree..oh, and the borders are no more “Open” under Dems
…than GOP…same Border Patrol…same quotas…same laws…same procedures…except that petitioners actually get a hearing, and efforts are made to encourage nations of origin to process emigres there, as well as find ways to lessen the desire to leave.
One more thing…neither party supports more walls being built...even the GOP didn't fight for "The Wall"...like they did for the Tax Break for Corps and 1%ers.
