Got pulled over this morning by CHP, officer was early 30's maybe late 20's
He asks sir do you know why I pulled you over and I said of course, I was doing 86 in a 70. Here is my license, registration and insurance. I didn't even pull out my Military retiree card.
He came back with a warning. Then we talked and wont bore you with that.
Then, I get to work and my trailer was broken into and called the Sherriff.
In both cases the officers were young, polite and professional.
Is this going to happen every time or with every citizen???? Of course not but these men and women that serve our communities are not the devil and should be given common courtesy and the benefit of the doubt until they screw up.
It's not all bad out there.

When I was 10 or 11 for about a 24 month stretch I would come home from school and let myself in since I had a dead beat dad and was a key latch kid for most of my youth.
I would open up the refrigerator and let's say a dozen times in that 24 month period I would call my mom and say, nothing to eat mom. Her response was take your pole down to the river and catch something.
Let's talk about more of my whiteness. I was the best man at my best friends wedding, he is from Puerto Rico.
