Poll: Is it proper for the FBI try to restrict correct information from being published?

A: Yes, that is the proper domain of their agency. They should contact companies like Facebook and the NYT to stop the flow of correct information from getting to the public, and if they have to lie to them to do so (e.g., call it "Russian Disinformation" when the know it is not), it is proper that they do so.

B: No, their authority does not extend to censorship in general, and it does not enable them to contact private citizens and companies to lie to them to convince them to do what they cannot do directly, which is censorship. Any FBI agent who did that should be fired immediately, at a minimum.

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.

Did the FBI/DOJ plant the documents before or after he declassified everything?

Or it doesn’t really matter to the cult and any justification or diversion is just fine.

…even if it is “correct”?

Like, for instance, info on the sources and methods used to gather US intelligence?

Do you understand that the FBI is in charge of US counterintelligence?

…..you think Biden’s Boys waited a year and a half until just before elections to carry this out when he had been cooperating?

Nothing in the redacted affidavit even hints at such information by the way.

The legality of HOW he might have declassified info is debatable. Why no comment on the appropriateness? Will it matter if there is actual human intel in that trove which could endanger allies/spies?

Waiting for JimB to review contents of laptop and apprise us as to veracity of emails, phone call messages from someone who says he is dad, videos of women in various stages of undress speaking with some individual smoking crack about how they have been treated and apportionment of anticipated funds coming from various Chinese entities; which maybe controlled by Communist Chinese military branches.

As soon as we get a run-down on the laptop by JimB we'll be in a better position to address whether or not the contents of the laptop could be perceived as a threat to national security.

Please note that I am not disparaging JimB, just saying that he'll give us a run-down or alternatively, either a diversion or derisive answer.

Patients is a virtue.
