Looks like George Soros' $125M donation is a drop in the bucket...

Can we please get back to dealing with Campaign Finance Reform for the country's benefit...

Thank God for Joe Biden and the Democrats.

Thread Level: 2

Your article names the donor, not "dark money" if I understand the term.

And before you go off on some unrelated tangent, know that I don't care.

Thread Level: 3

That's the second time you've posted a reply to something you "don't care about"...

what have you been ingesting lately? ;-).

btw, I just copied the article's headline...go complain to the author if you don't like the terminology...for someone who doesn't care at all, why fixate on such minutiae?

There's no point in pushing for a discussion on this topic until all your senses are functional.

That he can gripe about campaign financing is rich.

Soros' demonic foundation has been funding pro-criminal communists for years in an effort to destroy this country.

Now he whines that pro-Republic donors are stepping up. Astounding.

Thread Level: 4

Who exactly are the pro-criminal communists' you say he donates to?...you must have a list handy...

Are any of the people you mention convicted criminals, or avowed communists?...didn't think so...

take a few moments to come down from your rant and read George Soros' own words on why he backs 'Reform Prosecutors"...it's unlikely that you'll agree with him, but there is no hidden agenda, and the facts that he lays out regarding today's situation are real and demand changes...even the Charles Koch Family Foundation calls for a 'De-Militarization' of police forces.

The "Status Quo" is not working...not sure I would agree with all of the Reform changes, but the 'vector' is better than standing still.

btw, wrt to Soros...his donations are public...not sure exactly who funds Leonard Leo's operation....maybe you can help there...who are all the backers?...

Those are pro-criminal communists. They've made their cities and regions more dangerous.

Now you want to say "but they're not convicted criminals!"

You've lost. Piss off.

Thread Level: 10

You should read George Soros' Open Letter that I posted on why he supports Reform Prosecutors...

just locking people up AFTER they've committed even a minor, victimless crime, is not always the most effective use of tax dollars to keep a community safe...costs a lot, and too often destroys young lives which leads to a guaranteed increase in future crimes...there are credible alternatives...although "For Profit Prisons" may not think so.

btw, you also need to bone up on the definition of "Communism"...I doubt that any of the people you mention are looking to ownership of production to the state, etc....but you really don't want to throw away a handy, albeit mindless, epithet.

Big money, however, benefits the GOP.

There is a reason that one side wants the taps completely open and the other wants it shut.
