Based upon my reviews of prison records... a majority of our convicts suffer from mental illness.
We delude ourselves thart our criminal justice/penal system is humane.
It's merely a little more humane that the preceding penal systems.
Regardless, we have no real answers... other than to encourge the besr possible early life parenting to prevent mental illness.
