Just looked at my retirement portfolio, it is down to March 2021 level.
I'm okay with this for awhile, buying shares on the cheap!-

The liquidity lottery is over. There is no fed put.
The UK five year gilt was up 50 bps today. The pound is tumbling.
Europe has an energy crisis.
Don't even mention emerging markets.

Taxable income? Capital gains are gonna be way down this year.
Meanwhile government debt servicing cost are going to skyrocket.
And the Dems will be helpless to pass any economic relief packages after they lose the House.
The next two years are going to be very painful
